SPORT FOCUSED TRAINING

Athletes have different fitness requirements within their chosen sport. In order to meet these requirements, the athlete’s training must be specific to their sport. An individual training schedule should be periodised with different phases of training - such as the development of aerobic fitness or explosive power.

Fitnessworks have provided sports focused training for athletes participating in rugby, judo, hockey, golf, rowing and cycling.

Fitnessworks has the pleasure of working with local and national sports men and women within the region. We are currently training British Judo junior and senior competitors, a National League rugby team and young identified talent at the Leys School, Cambridge:

WORKSHOPS

Fitnessworks can create a customised workshop, from a range of options, that covers every phase of training for a particular sport. The aim of each workshop is that it should be enjoyable, challenging and set attainable goals. Fitnessworks provide an exciting variety of equipment and innovative exercises to enhance each athlete’s sporting performance.

Fitnessworks offer a 1, 2 or 3 day workshop, dependant on the number of workshop options selected:

One Day workshop 4 Options
Two Day workshop 8 Options
Three Day workshop 12 Options
